On Saturday, 26 September, we’re playing at the Tennisclub Heuchelheim, just outside Frankenthal and about twenty minutes from the rehearsal room. The occasion is Stefan’s birthday, celebrated a little late. A band with a finished record doesn’t need much more of a reason than that.


Eighty minutes, played straight through, no break. Most of what we do was made in one room at Loftroom13, and it was built to run without gaps — so that’s how we play it. Come for the whole thing rather than half of it.


Doors open at 19:00, we start at 20:00. Admission is free, and there are drinks and snacks at cost price. Address, map and directions are on the gig page.

How we shot the Phoenix video in one take at Loftroom13 with an iPhone and a gimbal — and the one shot that went wrong.

The video for „Phoenix“ was shot where the album was made: Loftroom13, our rehearsal room and studio in Ludwigshafen. No crew, no rented location — just an iPhone 15 Pro Max on a DJI gimbal, with Christian Kurtz operating the camera.

The idea was simple. Stefan walks into the rehearsal room while „Phoenix“ is already playing, crosses the room, and sits down behind the kit just in time for his entry. The viewer enters with him: you meet the band and the room at the same pace he does, in one continuous take.

Only one thing went wrong, and it went wrong in the shot that mattered most. Since Christian Kurtz is behind the camera for the entire video, he had to appear on screen at least once — during the walk-in, as Stefan passes him — or the illusion falls apart. So Christian Jakobi took over the camera for that scene and filmed it in portrait mode. We only noticed in the edit.

Everything you see and hear on The Laydown Road Recordings was made this way: recorded, mixed, produced and filmed by the four of us, without a label.

Our new album The Laydown Road Recordings is officially out now.

Written and produced between 2023 and 2026, the record represents three years of focused creative work. From the earliest compositional sketches to the final master, the entire album was realized independently by the band.

Recording, mixing, and mastering were handled entirely in-house, allowing full control over dynamics, texture, and sonic identity. Artwork, visual concept, and release
management were also developed internally — making this a completely self-contained production in both musical and artistic terms.

Musically, The Laydown Road Recordings moves between expansive progressive soundscapes, rhythmically driven passages, and intimate melodic moments. Layered keyboards, expressive guitars, and detailed arrangements shape a cinematic yet organic listening experience.

The album is available now on CD and digitally via Bandcamp, as well as on major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and others worldwide.
